“I was taught that the way of progress was neither swift nor easy.”
- Marie Curie
As a teacher, I have always been passionate about providing information in a way that is interactive and fun to my students. However, as I continued teaching I noticed that I was growing more and more unhealthy, as well as my students.
With my background in Exercise Science, I began creating programs that promoted healthy lifestyle changes. I realized that there was a missing link between healthy living and physical activity, and that was Nutrition.
I wanted to bridge that gap so I could help my students and their families live a healthier life, so I registered at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in the Nutrition and Dietetics Program. This has been one of the best and most challenging decisions of my life.
